While usually the food and the welcoming hospitality are usually tops in the memory bank after a stay at a DINE inn, we hear over and over from guests how much they really love the guest rooms at DINE inns. Each offering a private bath, and many with whirlpool tubs or fireplaces, it’s the fabulous beds, the amazing sheets and pillows and the styled decor that bring in rave reviews. Some of our guest rooms have views and other offer up special themes and amenities.  All of them offer something uniquely different from one another and definitely different from home.  Perhaps that’s another reason you love our guestrooms.  You don’t have to make your bed or clean your room.

5 Things Guests Love Most About Our Guest Rooms

Incredibly comfortable beds

Last time a blogger stayed at Captain Jefferds Inn, she went right out and bought a mattress at the same store the inn gets theirs!  One night in the Montpelier Room there, and she was hooked on the comfy bed. All the DINE inns offer rooms with queen or king beds. And the Deerfield Inn and Grafton Inn even offer up rooms with two queens or two doubles for families while the Gateways Inn has one cozy full-bedded room perfect for teens traveling with parents.  The mattresses are high quality, many with pillowtops or feather (or non-allergetic synthetic) toppers.  Count on plenty of wonderful pillows too.

Fireplace room at Harbor Light InnAll the bells and whistles

Bubbly whirlpool tubs? Yup. We’ve got them.  Private wood or gas fireplaces with flickering flames to go to sleep by?  No problem, you’ll find them at most of the DINE inns, and you’ll even find bathrooms with see-through fireplaces.  I-Pod docking stations, flat screen TVs, DVD players?  Don’t worry, you’re covered. Some of our inns even have DVD libraries stocked with entertainment options for all interests.  Nearly all of the DINE inns offer these amenities in-rooms or if you ask.  Wi-fi?  Yup.  If you need it, you can access it.  If you wish to unplug, you can do that too. At Harbor Light Inn, you can even choose to stay in one of the apartments, if you’re planning to stay a little longer perhaps to do business in Boston.

Lavish linens

Over and over again, DINE innkeepers hear how much their guests love their sheets, towels and blankets.  It’s surprising how much of a difference bedding makes, but when guests visit a DINE inn and feel those high thread-count linens, they leave vowing to replace theirs at home.  Don’t worry; many of the DINE inns sell those wonderful sheets, pillow cases and towels in their gift shops.

Towel swans at Cliffside InnIn-room treats

Whether its a chocolate on the pillow or the Poo-Pourri toilet spray in the bathroom, you’ll love the special little extras you find at DINE inns.  At Captain’s House Inn it’s Cape Cod potato chips, at Rabbit Hill Inn, it’s a heart-sachet on your bed.  At Manor On Golden Pond, it’s a very special little sewing kit, just in case you need to do a little mend. From the rubber duckies next to the bathtub to the beautiful towel sculptures you find at Cliffside Inn or Captain’s House Inn,  DINE innkeepers have thought of everything when it comes to the little things that make a difference.
