Celebrate all things maple in March

From the looks of it, most of the Northern New England states will hold festivals to celebrate the maple syrup running on the weekend of March 21 – 23. This is the time of year when the sap starts running through the New England maples, and sugar houses open up to not only sell but demonstrate how to make maple syrup. March 21-23 is the weekend to schedule your sweetest visit of the year to one of the Distinctive Inns of New England. Not only are you very likely to be served some of that fresh maple syrup, created from trees nearby, but you will also enjoy a fun itinerary including visiting sugarhouses across the state.
