News from Chesterfield Inn: New Room 16
Room 16 has enjoyed a makeover and we think that guests will love what they see. All the wallpaper was removed and a fresh coat of paint now covers ever surface. Look for new artwork, new bedcoverings and new pillows. It still has that wonderful “Chesterfield” feel, just a bit brighter and fresher!
News from Captain’s House Inn: New ideas for fun
If you ask James and Jill Meyer about their newest idea for something fun to do on the Cape, you’d better not have a fear of heights! Their recent initiation into sky diving with Skydive Cape Cod has them very excited to share the fun with their guests. If you’re game to hear about it and try it, they’ll tell you all about their new favorite pastime!
Additionally, Chatham has a new historic theater. The Orpheum, just opened after a number of years of fundraising. For native Chatham residents, it is a nostalgic reminder of the theater that was converted years ago into a CVS Drug Store. The CVS has since moved and now movies are back on Main Street! The retro design is a throwback to the earlier life of the theater. Look forward to catching a movie or event at The Orpheum when you visit the Captain’s House Inn.
There’s something new on the breakfast menu at Captain’s House Inn: Smoked Salmon Benedict. Chefs have combined a homemade cranberry English muffin, grilled and topped with smoked salmon, eggs over easy, and a spicy hollandaise sauce for what is quickly becoming a favorite among guests.
Stay tuned to the DINE blog for additional updates from member inns. There’s still lots of time to fit in your summer getaway. Simply use the convenient availability calendar to check out rooms and from there book online. We hope to see you this summer in DINE country.
