Dyed devil eggs and other Easter ideas

This year we thought we'd offer an idea brought to us from Cliffside Inn for colorful dyed deviled eggs. You've purchased that extra dozen eggs to dye with the kids and grandkids. How about decorating with half the dozen and enjoying a colorful spring treat for the table with the other half? Here's a step-by-step guide for dying then deviling eggs.

Introducing itineraries starting with two original historic inns

We're planning to introduce a new series of itineraries on the DINE blog. Knowing that a visit to one DINE property is wonderful, we can only imagine how guests will feel about visiting two, three or even four of the Distinctive Inns of New England. To make it easier, we plan to create a number of itineraries in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned to the blog for ideas for your DINE escapes organized by location, like our Coastal Route, or themes such as historic, culinary and more.

May is Health Care Professional Recognition Month at DINE

In an effort to recognize those who selflessly take care of others, the Distinctive Inns of New England have declared May as Health Care Professional Recognition Month. Nine DINE inns have "doctored" their rates to give health care professionals the shot in the arm they need to schedule a little much-needed R&R in May. While every month is a good month for a romantic New England getaway, the Distinctive Inns of New England want to offer a reason for those who tirelessly care for others to receive a little restful escape for themselves.
