Six warning signs you shouldn’t ignore from DINE

Warning: Distinctive Inns of New England getaways may be addictive

These days everything comes with some kind of warning.  Whether it’s “hazardous to your health”, “slippery when wet” or “contains small pieces”, it seems that everything has some kind of inherent risk.  Therefore in full disclosure, the Distinctive Inns of New England (DINE) thought it only prudent to share their own admissions of liability just so guests of the DINE inns know what kinds of possible side effects might be in store with their next getaway.

Six Warnings you can’t overlook when visiting Distinctive Inns of New England

DINE inns can become quickly addictive.  We’re just saying that once you’ve experienced the supreme R&R and welcoming hospitality of any of the Distinctive Inns of New England, you may become hooked and will be compelled to leave all other vacation accommodations by the wayside. Beyond that, it’s easy to become quickly addicted to the great food, incredible beds, lack of stress and the chance to leave the clean up to the innkeepers.

It’s worth it to indulge when you DINE, and worry about the extra calories later.

DINE inns may raise your heartbeat and circulation.  When visiting one of the Distinctive Inns of New England, chances are you’ll enjoy a little adventure, whether it be inside your guest room or outside.  From ziplining to skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or even a little aerobic shopping, you’re sure to get the heartbeat up a little faster than when you sit at your desk.

DINE inns may cause you to miss some days at work.  For those who feel they can’t miss a day at work your “work martyr” days may be over after visiting a DINE inn.  Recently, while visiting Rabbit Hill Inn, I met a gentleman who described his job as “doing something with hospital administration”. It turns out he was the Chief Operator Officer of one of New England’s largest and most highly regarded hospitals.  Even he finds time to sneak away (sometimes for just one night) from a very demanding schedule.  If he could get away from the business of saving lives, you too can leave your job for a few days and focus solely on you, your own pleasure, and being surrounded by those who welcome you with open arms.

DINE inns may be hazardous to your sleep.  The incredibly comfortable beds, pillow options, luxurious sheets, in room fireplaces and quiet surroundings may be hazardous to those who’ve grown accustomed to little or not enough sleep.  Your DINE getaway will remove many of the barriers to sleep you find at home, which could result in the realization that post-DINE, you’ll simply need to get more sleep.

While DINE inns acknowledge liability for these positive results from your upcoming getaway, they continue to encourage travel to DINE country, knowing the positive side- effects for rest and relaxation.  Heed the warning signs, and you’re well on the way to the perfect getaway at any of the 12 Distinctive Inns of New England.
