DINE’s NEWEST MEMBER: Harbor Light Inn
As you may have read earlier on the blog, there’s a new member on the DINE block. The Harbor Light Inn in Marblehead, MA has joined the ranks of Distinctive Inns of New England, offering our guests an ideal stop just 17 miles north of Boston. Historic in design and modern in amenities, this 20-room inn is steeped in maritime lore and luxury. Look forward to a snug wine bar tavern offering up appetizers, soups and sandwiches at the end of the day and a hearty breakfast buffet to start each day. The ideal addition to one of our “DINEtineraries,” if you’re traveling from Cape Cod, Connecticut or Newport, or if you’re coming from Maine, New Hampshire or Vermont, the Harbor Light Inn is right in-between. New look for baths at Inn at Harbor Hill Marina
For Inn at Harbor Hill Marina, the makeover comes in the inn’s bathrooms where new tile floors, vanities, granite tops and toilets are being installed this spring just in time for the summer visitors.
New charging stations for electric car drivers at Captain Jefferds Inn
In addition to a new roof on the Carriage House and stair/hallway carpeting, Captain Jefferds Inn will work with Tesla to install two new charging stations for electric cars. One station will be dedicated to charging Tesla cars and the other will be available for any electric vehicle. Now, those driving electric cars will not only get a charge out of this historic property in Kennebunkport, they’ll also be able to charge their vehicle for the next stop.
A new look for the Dining Room at Rabbit Hill Inn
Rabbit Hill Inn’s spring makeover will be dedicated to the Dining Room. A complete renovation is underway as all new tables and chairs, style and design will greet guests after the inn’s spring closing. And on top of a new look comes a new chef too. Stay tuned for more as the inn isn’t quite ready to make an announcement yet, but soon will on their website – which also sports a complete makeover too!
