Last week, we took you on an armchair tour of the beautiful holiday decorations in our Distinctive Inns of New England (DINE) member inns found in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. This week, as we look forward to a white Christmas throughout DINE country, we will offer glimpses of the beautiful holiday decor at our Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut inns. Most importantly, we want to take this time to wish all of our blog readers and DINE-inn-goers a very Merry Christmas, Kwanza, Boxing Day or other holiday celebrations. We wish all our readers a peaceful holiday along with a happy new year.,
Let’s start our tour in Massachusetts where the largest number of DINE inns are found. We’ll start in the Berkshires at the Deerfield Inn where history meets comfort.
Less than an hour away, the Gateways Inn celebrates Hanukkah for the whole town of Lenox with its beautiful menorah.
In Marblehead, the Harbor Light Inn’s Christmas tree offers holiday cheer to guests of the inn.
And heading down to Cape Cod, the Captain’s House Inn welcomes in the holidays with a beautiful white covering of snow. They’re dreaming of a white Christmas, and it looks like they’ll get it!
And nothing says Christmas more than the Santa-hat-decorated dining room at Captain’s House Inn!
Our final stop on the DINE holiday tour of 2017 is the Inn at Harbor Hill Marina. Here we find a seaside Christmas, complete with nautical reminders of the holiday.
