Ode to the holidays from DINE inns

Merry Christmas bannerAs we close in on Christmas 2021, the innkeepers at Distinctive Inns of New England (DINE) can’t help but break into song as they watch the festivities unfold at their inns.  Guests from throughout the country have chosen to stay at their favorite DINE inn either while visiting nearby family and friends or taking from a total break from the “holidaze.” This holiday season, innkeepers in DINE country have created their own rendition of a special Christmas carol just for the DINE blog.

Here’s own very own DINE Wishes You A Merry Christmas (sung to the tune of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas…)

We wish you a Merry Christmas

We wish you a Merry Christmas

From our inns to your homes

Bring on the cheer

We’ll bring you some figgy pudding

We’ll bring you some tea and pastries

We’ll bring you some homemade cookies

And a pile of clean towels

You can’t go until you get some

You can’t go until you say bye

You must promise to review us

And come back again

This holiday season and throughout the year, we join the Grinch as he discovers the beauty in Christmas in the last scene of “The Grinch That Stole Christmas”…

And the grinch raised his glass and said in a toast,

To kindness and love, the things we need most”!

May all the things you need most in your life be your gift throughout the holiday season and 2022.  Happy holidays from all of us in DINE country.
