We Gather Together to Be Thankful for our Guests

DINE innkeepersEach year near Thanksgiving time, the Distinctive Inns of New England (DINE) innkeepers gather to review the past six months and plan for the winter and spring marketing.  This is a transition year for DINE and unfortunately, that meeting didn’t happen. However, the overriding sentiment among all nine DINE inns at each of these meetings is thankfulness.  Post-pandemic, the focus can once again be on our guests and how very thankful each DINE innkeeper is for those that choose to visit our inns. Without our guests, each DINE inn is a lovely home.  With guests, our inns are filled with the vitality and joy that only happy travelers can bring.

To take it a step further, our guests, help us to transform our inns to flourishing destinations, abuzz with smiles and happy people enjoying much needed time in quality locations.  During the pandemic, we asked DINE innkeepers to tell us why they were grateful on Thanksgiving.  You can read their answers here. DINE innkeepers are grateful for their own families, their staffs and their loyal guests.

clanking glassesWe all agree that Thanksgiving offers a special time of the year when we can celebrate the opportunity to reflect and count our many blessings. We at Distinctive Inns of New England are grateful for all of the wonderful guests who have taken time from their hectic… often challenging… lives to recharge and regain their well-being at our inns. Each of the DINE innkeepers are also unbelievably appreciative of their loyal, dependable and often courageous team members whose kind hearts and sincere devotion to our guests continue to inspire us in countless ways. Our inn staffs have stepped up to manage additional cleaning, serving and hospitality protocols we never imagined we’d have to implement. We’re so grateful for their willingness to learn and employ so many new ways of delivering hospitality with care and attentiveness.

DINE dinner at Grafton InnAs we gather for family get-togethers, Thanksgiving feasts and football games, we ask you to join us in taking a moment to reflect on thankfulness.  Covid taught us to make each day count, and we are thankful to be there to make your days count too.

From all of us at Distinctive Inns of New England to your families and our friends, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.  May the blessings of the season overflow like ours do.
