The evolution of a resolution

At a recent meeting of the eleven Distinctive Inns of New England, members made their own resolutions. Their promise was to offer a respite to groups like clergy, farmers, heath care professionals, emergency responders and our military. Throughout 2014, DINE inns have resolved to honor groups of people who are not often recognized.

In a recent article in the AARP Bulletin entitled 10 Tips for Better Health author Nissa Simon suggested if your new year’s resolutions have you facing another rigorous regimen of diet and exercise, you’re bound to give up in less than a month. Instead, while the article suggested 10 healthy resolutions for better health we couldn’t help but notice that most of those ideas could be best achieved at any of the 11 Distinctive Inns of New England. The conclusion: combine a DINE getaway with getting healthy in the new year, and you’ve got the perfect way to stay committed to your resolution!
