The Inn at English Meadows will become your home away from home when you visit the southern Maine seacoast. Its unforgettable ambiance and warm hospitality make you feel pampered and well cared for from the moment you arrive! The historic 1860s Inn offers fresh, modern décor alongside striking original features like custom millwork and wide plank floors. The vibe is restful, relaxed and superbly comfortable throughout the Inn’s spacious common areas, 11 guest rooms and suites and charming 2-bedroom seasonal cottage, all tastefully updated and individually decorated. Guests enjoy a freshly prepared, full-service breakfast each morning, afternoon cookies baked from scratch, and luxurious amenities such as Frette fine linens and robes and Malin+Goetz toiletries. All guest rooms have private en suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and high-speed internet; many with gas fireplaces. The Inn’s lovely English-style gardens and expansive lawn invite you to relax outdoors with a book or a glass of wine from spring through fall. Our seasonal cottage and Tack Room Suite are dog-friendly.

“We can’t say enough about the Inn at English Meadows. It was quaint, cozy and the host was so welcoming. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. From the high end toiletries to complimentary robes and welcome bag. The Inn was charming, with inviting common areas where the host would provide freshly made cookies each afternoon. The breakfast each morning was nothing short of gourmet from miniature scones to poached pears and sweet potatoes and sausage hash. It was truly one of the best getaways we’ve ever had. We loved it so much that we extended our stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you Elizabeth for a very memorable experience.”

“This was our first stay at the Inn and it was wonderful! The Inn itself is beautiful including the grounds. Our suite was very comfortable. It’s so nice to have creature comforts like a great shower, two sinks, super comfortable bed, small refrigerator and a gas fireplace. The Inn is really close to all the shops and all that there is to see along the ocean. Breakfast was special. Everything we had was professionally prepared and delicious! We will definitely be back!!”
